Pandan Slipper

CV Mendong Jaya was founded in 1994 in Tasikmalaya by Zaenal Muttaqin (Abah Eje) with a mission to empower rural artisans through traditional mendong weaving skills. Using natural materials such as mendong grass, pandan leaves, and water hyacinth, they produce a wide range of products: mats, hotel slippers, storage boxes, trays, home and hotel accessories, and light furniture. Their handcrafted products are known for high quality, made by a local workforce (200–400 artisans), eco-friendly, and feature exclusive contemporary designs. The company has successfully entered export markets in Asia, Europe, the United States, and Germany, supported by international certifications and collaborations with Bank Indonesia and local universities.
