Agnesa Handwritten Batik

Agnesa Batik was established in 1970 in Tasikmalaya to develop traditional stamped and hand-drawn batik. It is known for nature-inspired motifs—swamps, forests, stones, leaves, ginger, and wood grain—such as “batu numpuk”, “daun kadaka”, “awi nagaramat”, and “kendi”, combined with vibrant colors like blue, yellow, green, orange, red, and brown. Its main product is hand-drawn batik fabric (cotton, approx. 2×1.5 m), using natural or synthetic dyes and exclusive designs. With handcrafted quality, rich local motifs, and cheerful color variations, Agnesa Batik brings forward the authentic and dynamic cultural heritage of Tasikmalaya.
